Wild approached Morrama to update the original refillable deodorant design with improvements based on 4 years of customer feedback. The project aimed to improve user experience and address customer feedback, whilst improving the sustainability of the case construction & reducing costs.
The outcome of the project was an improved case that was re-worked from the ground up. The new design addressed key customer pain points leading to an all-round improved user experience. Dissimilar materials of the case were designed to be disassembled at end of life, whilst the product's size, weight and number of components were reduced to further improve the sustainability of the case.

Modifications were also made to the case and refill packaging to maximise the amount of usable deodorant in each refill and reduce wastage.
My role on this project was to oversee the technical design decisions throughout development, whilst supporting the team with the engineering and detailed design for manufacture of the case and refill packaging.
